The
two-car team of Kelvin Hamilton and Todd
Wanless are headed west for the running
of the Magic Man 34. The team is just a
part of a Queensland invasion for the
Wild & Wingless Midget month of action
incorporating the Magic Man 34 and
Australian Speedcar title.
Hamilton in only his third season in
Speedcars is still relatively new to the
division after moving from Super Sedans
is certainly keen to impress in the
West.
The
team has built up an impressive list of
machinery with his HY=Performance Racing
06 Stealth Stanton Mopar being testament
to his commitment to Speedcar Racing in
Australia.
“We
are looking forward to the month in
Perth just to be part of The Magic Man
34 is going to be great we have a good
number of cars coming across so
hopefully a Queensland car might take it
out” said Hamilton.
Coming
off a strong fifth place at Charlton
Raceway last weekend in the final round
of the Speedcar Super Series Hamilton is
in fine form and will be one to watch.
Hamilton’s team driver Todd Wanless
will also be here for the Magic Man 34
but is currently unsure if commitments
will allow him to run the Australian
Title. The 1996 Australian Sprintcar
champion knows how to win big races and
is a multiple state champion in both
Sprintcars and Speedcars.
When
asked what does the Magic Man 34 mean to
you?
A. “An
opportunity to race against the best in
the country in honour of a man who was
one of the best ever” said Wanless.
The
team is immaculately prepared and will
be a fantastic addition for the Wild &
Wingless Midget month of Action.

team would like to thank: HY=
