The wait is over, we can finally reveal that the Michael Figliomeni Tribute race will be known as the “Magic Man 34” which will be held on the 27th of October 2007 at the Perth Motorplex.

Today the Motorplex released the official seasons calendar for Speedway and Drag Racing and Speedway Manager Gavin Migro is very excited about the coming season and the amount of Speedcar racing at the venue. “This season will be awesome for Speedcars with the Magic Man 34, the State Title and the National Title. We are working very hard to make sure that the Magic Man 34 becomes the massive event and it gets the support it deserves. Said Migro.

To make the A main extra special and as a fitting tribute the race will be held over 34 laps in honour of Michael’s number 34”.

“We couldn’t be happier with the work Gavin and the team at the Motorplex, have been doing on Michael’s race and now we can tell everyone about the date and to get the 34 laps we were hoping for is just fantastic”. Said Michaels brother Steven Figliomeni.
